How to Wipe Your Hard Drive
- Download Dariks Boot and Nuke at http://www.dban.org/download
- Burn it to a CD
- Windows XP will need CDBurnerXP
- Windows 7, VIsta, and Linux have ISO burning built in
- Boot the computer to the CD.
- You may need to activate the temporary boot menu, look for prompts when your computer starts up (on Dells it's F12)
- Choose autonuke, it'll take at least 2 hours.
